My name is Karlan Andrews. I played college baseball at Fresno Pacific University. I’ve been coaching infielders and studying the infield position ever since I finished playing in 2012. I coached Varsity infield for one year at CVC and coached Varsity infielders the seven years at Redwood High School where we won two valley championships and three league championships. I was also an associate scout with the Texas Rangers for two years. I currently serve as the Infield Coach at Fresno Pacific University.
Studying the infield position has been a true passion of mine for years. I am lucky enough to have been able to learn from and pick the brains of many professional infield coaches.
My goal is to create a fun and competitive atmosphere where athletes can learn a great work ethic that they can use in much more than just baseball. Athletes will be asked to set goals monthly as to what they want to improve on so that there is a purpose with each and every workout. We live in an awesome baseball community here in the valley and I believe kids getting to work out with others from different schools and cities can be an awesome thing not only competitively, but it helps kids build that baseball community and gain respect for other players and their work ethic in a separate setting, other than just a baseball field. Your athlete will not only be working on their development as an infielder, but will also be working on their development as an athlete with the help of strength drills that will help develop the body movements and functionality that are required while playing the infield position. This facility is fully committed to developing your player not only fundamentally, but physically as well.
